Paid Subscribers Can Ask Research Questions, Founding Member Monthly Meetings

I have thoroughly enjoyed doing this Substack, and I once again want to thank my friend and colleague Kate Alexander for encouraging me to start it. Given the uncertainties of funding and the limited opportunities to earn income from writing and public speaking these days, I want to try to earn a bit more money from my efforts.

The Substack will continue to remain free of charge to those of you who are already maxed out on subscriptions or otherwise unable to take on yet another monthly bill. But I am encouraging those of you who can to make a voluntary donation of $5 a month/$60 a year. This will give you the right to leave comments, and to ask me one research question per month.

Founding members, at $150 per year, can access a monthly founders meeting which could range from a Q&A with me to an interview with a special guest. Members can suggest topics for the monthly meetings, or request an occasional special meeting on a breaking issue.

I am also contemplating starting either a podcast or a radio show, with details to come.
